The William Inge Memorial Theatre

Witness the bold and inventive works of KU Theatre's most promising emerging student directors. Now in its fourth year, Black Box productions puts the reins in the hands of the students—it's their opportunity to direct, cast, rehearse and perform with a limited rehearsal schedule and budget. Selected directors have the opportunity to showcase their talent while presenting innovative and fresh work to the audiences of Lawrence.
